'Engaging Women--a Different Approach' describes a different public engagement process, ensuring the views and experiences of women are made easily accessible to front line staff. The report also describes the benefits of supporting clinicians to contribute to service and quality improvement within a PDSA cycle (Plan, Do, Study, Act). The approach helps build internal capacity and skills so that local maternity services develop an effective and continuous feedback system รข establishing a stronger local voice for women for use within a service commissioning framework.
